The experts recommend prioritizing sustainability by integrating it into competitiveness indicators and exploring rewarding payments for public goods production within the CAP. Furthermore, they advise to enhance coherence with both EU and national policies, focusing on generational renewal, gender, and conducting regular performance reviews.
Members raised various questions including the effectiveness of measures for generational change and investments in different Member States, the definition of competitiveness and differences in measures across the Members States.
