[Digest] Aviation Sector Strategic Action Plan

The presentation of the study took place on 23 June 2026 and focused on the following topics:

• The competitiveness of the EU aviation sector considering global competition and the EU’s decarbonisation policies, highlighting current strengths and weaknesses.
• Assessment of the working conditions in the EU aviation sector.
• Innovations, technology developments, and targeted actions that could boost the competitiveness of the EU aerospace industry.

The presentation was followed by questions from the Members and a stimulating debate.
