The presentation of the study took place on 23 January 2024 and focused on the following topics:

  • The greening of freight transport and logistics, and the future framework for skills; 
  • The transformation of the automotive sector and new demands for upskilled workers;
  • Addressing labour attractiveness and future skills needs in the maritime sector;
  • Future mobility – winners and losers, case studies, and policy options to enhance upskilling, attractiveness and working conditions, and to support a just transition.

The presentation was followed by questions from the Members and a stimulating debate during which, among others, issues related to innovation in upskilling, artificial intelligence, and just transition were discussed.
