[Digest] Study presentation: Assessment of the potential of sustainable fuels in transport

The presentation of the study took place on 27 June 2023 and focused on the following topics:

• Global context for sustainable fuels in transport;
• Sustainable fuels and decarbonisation in the different transport modes;
• The investments needed;
• The role of the EU in supporting sustainable fuels.

The presentation was followed by questions from the Members and a stimulating debate, such as on demand management, costs, raw materials and social justice issues.
