The presentation of the study took place on 10 May 2021 and focused on the following topics:
- Options and obstacles into defining transport infrastructure in low-density and depopulating areas.
- Relevant transport policies and projects implemented in these areas.
- Key challenges and trends concerning the provision of transport policies and infrastructure in low-density and depopulating areas.
- Policy recommendations that fit into the ongoing and forthcoming legislative and parliamentary work, and aimed at providing policymakers with tools and resources in order to overcome the identified challenges and gaps
The presentation was followed by questions from the Members and a stimulating debate.
