[Digest] Climate adaptation using Cohesion Policy. Fostering adaptation, regional resilience and economic sustainability

The presentation of the study took place on 27 January 2025 and focused on the following topics:

• Climate risks and adaptation needs
• EU policy instruments for adaptation
• Current Cohesion Policy support
• Support gaps and policy recommendations

Following the presentation, Members raised questions and exchanged of ideas on matters of water management, resilient infrastructure, support for rural areas, institutional capacities and the importance of needs-based support.
