[Digest] The next reform of the CAP: The variables in the equation

The presentation of the study took place on 29 January 2025 and focused on the following topics:

• An assessment of the current CAP and of the outcome of the Strategic Dialogue
• The Context and challenges for future policy
• The proposed framework of variables and five alternative pathways to solve the equation of the future CAP
• Policy recommendations

Following the presentation, Members raised questions and exchanged views on the approach taken in the study and on the elements that will have to be prioritised when discussing the future CAP.
