[Digest] Study presentation: Comparative analysis of the CAP Strategic Plans and their effective contribution to the achievement of the EU objectives

The presentation of the study took place on 29 June and focused on the following topics:

• overview of the key elements of the 28 Strategic Plans that underpin the CAP implementation for 2023-2027.
• the Performance and Monitoring Evaluation Framework, a key feature of the CAP’s new results-based approach.
• the simplification of the CAP and the assessment of the administrative burden for Member States.

The presentation was followed by questions from the Members, a presentation by the European Commission (DG AGRI) and a stimulating discussion on how the EP and the Commission will monitor and evaluate the Member States’ CAP strategic plans until 2027.
