[Digest] Expected impacts of ‘Fit for 55’ legislation on connectivity and mobility in Europe

 The presentation of the study took place on 4 December 2024 and focused on the following topics:

• A thorough review of the eleven legislative texts within the ‘Fit for 55’ package that pertain to transport policy;
• The conceptualization of connectivity and mobility, grounded in an extensive literature review and the subsequent development of practical indicators;
• An in-depth analysis of these legislative texts, with a particular focus on their anticipated impacts on connectivity and mobility;
• A comprehensive set of policy recommendations, encompassing both cross-cutting insights and mode-specific guidance.

The presentation was followed by questions from the Members and a stimulating debate.
