Subject of contract
Deliver a study on "The use of cohesion policy funds to support refugees from Ukraine" of around 80 pages, to the European Parliament's Committee on Regional Development.

The contractor will have 120 days for preparation of the draft of the study.

The overall objective of the requested research project is the review and assessment of the cohesion policy funds and regulations (including CARE and CARE+) used in order to support the necessary actions aiming at helping the refugees from Ukraine. The study will provide an overview of the recent influx of Ukrainian refugees to the EU. It will also provide an overview of the EU response for this migratory crisis with in particular, a focus on the use of the cohesion policy and its funds and instruments. The study will analyse the implementation of the regulations CARE and CARE+.
It should also provide policy advice regarding potential modifications of the policy (and its instruments) and forecast of the future needs vis-a-vis support for the refugees.
