The following research projects are likely to be contracted for delivery in the first half of 2018:
1) Implementation and impact of the key European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) measures on the CFP The study would analyse the EMFF measures on port operations, energy efficiency, landing obligation and outermost regions with a view to the Common Fisheries Policy beyond 2020.
2) The European eel: reproductive biology, migration and sustainable management The critical state of some of the eel stocks would be addressed in the study; it would provide a better understanding of the causes and actions required based on all stages of the eel’s lifecycle.
3) The discard ban and the landing obligation in the Western Mediterranean Sea The paper would describe the impact on the maximum sustainable yield and the choke species effects, in view of the forthcoming multiannual plan for the region.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in being a contractor or have any questions about these projects.
For larger projects, definitive information will be published when the projects are formally launched. The official site for such information is here: http://www.europarl.europa.eu/tenders/invitations.htm
We also intend to advertise these opportunities on this blog. They may also be advertised on Twitter (@PolicyPECH).
Smaller projects (<€15000) are awarded to identified experts – either pre-identified by calls for expression of interest and/or by research of published expertise. We also offer paid peer reviewing opportunities. If you are qualified to deliver research/peer reviews in one or more of our five sectors then feel free to contact us with a relevant cv.
